Insurance

I may take your insurance. We can discuss this during your initial consultation and I encourage you to check with your insurance company to verify coverage and inquire as to any additional co-pays or deductible payments. I can provide a super-bill for reimbursement if I am out of network with your insurance company.

Please see my blog concerning insurance and mental health therapy for more information as well.

Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)

I am a provider on multiple EAP panels. Please verify through your human resources department and bring provided documentation to the first appointment.

How long will counseling last?

Counseling is a very individual process and depends on your individual goals and treatment plan. We can discuss this at the initial appointment and I can provide a general timeline.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Call or email me to check availability. Once you are a client you will have access to my online portal where you may schedule appointment, send messages, or update your information. Reminders will be sent out 48 hours before the appointment and I require at least 24 hour notice for any cancellations. If you cancel without giving 24 hour notice. A $50 charge for the hour that I cannot fill. I understand there are emergencies and will try to work with your schedule.

Do parents need to be present for therapy sessions?

It is imperative that parents be present for the initial visit with their child. Getting everyone’s consent and participation is important in family therapy. The treatment plan and goals will determine if we will have individual or family sessions each week. Often times a combination of both is needed.
